Since September 11, Hate crimes against American Muslims have increased considrably. Many websites, ours included, receive daily insults and many viruses are sent in our name or under the name of other Islamic sites. Do not open any e-mail that you are not expecting. American Islamic Chamber of Commerce does not send mass e-mails. Also many of our businesses have been approached by unscrupulous individuals asking for donations and money. These people claim to be orphans or victims of war or refugees. Several have said that they have been referred by us. Please be advised that the American Islamic Chamber of Commerce is in no way connected to these people, does not support these people or recommend any of them to you. Do not pay them any money. You can refer them to their local mosques. For these reasons, we are taking the address and phone number of the Islamic Businesses off our website. Again, do not open any of these e-mails, donate or send any money. They are not legitimate and they are using our community for illegal and corrupt purposes.
